On Saturday, 07 February 2026, an online workshop was held under the European Programme PoliRuralPlus (October 2025 – July 2026), focusing on the presentation of the new digital platform aimed at strengthening rural and youth entrepreneurship.
The workshop brought together NGO representatives, experienced beekeeping and olive oil producers, as well as young aspiring entrepreneurs seeking opportunities in the primary sector.
The meeting fostered dialogue, knowledge exchange, and collaborative engagement among stakeholders.
The platform was introduced as a modern digital ecosystem designed to:
-
Strengthen youth entrepreneurship
-
Enable producers to build a digital presence
-
Enhance networking and market outreach
Producers will be able to create digital profiles and promote their products according to contemporary e-commerce standards.
The programme also announced the development of supporting micro-learning material, including:
-
Technical training on platform use
-
Business development and branding guidance
-
Visual marketing training for professional product presentation in digital markets
The online workshop marks the beginning of a broader co-creation process.
Participants’ feedback will be evaluated and incorporated into the final technical configuration of the platform to ensure usability and relevance.
On-site workshops will be organized in Spring 2026, offering hands-on training and interactive entrepreneurship sessions.
PoliRuralPlus continues to invest in building trust with producers and supporting the sustainable future of rural entrepreneurship.
